Mitchell S. Weinstein

Mitchell Weinstein is the firm’s criminal defense attorney. He has been practicing in the area of criminal law since 2009. Mr. Weinstein graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Broadcast Journalism and Telecommunications from Arizona State University and later attended the Thomas M Cooley School of Law with an emphasis on litigation, moot court accolades, and a Book Award in Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Mr. Weinstein started working at the Maricopa County Office of the Public Defender in 2010. As a Public Defender, Mr. Weinstein handled many felony cases and has worked in the RCC courts, EDC courts, and trial courts.   Mr. Weinstein also worked in the Vehicular Trial Group, where he primarily handled felony DUIs.

Mr. Weinstein is an aggressive, tenacious attorney who fights for his clients in the pursuit of justice. Mr. Weinstein has handled an extensive variety of cases stemming from felony and misdemeanor DUIs, homicide, gang crimes, crimes with dangerous allegations, white collar, various drug and theft related crimes, sex crimes, and dangerous crimes against children.

Mr. Weinstein prides himself on the ability to establish and maintain good rapport with clients, witnesses, and court staff. He is a client-drive litigator and will always work hard for the best possible result.

Mr. Weinstein grew up in El Paso, Texas and is an avid sports fan. He enjoys cooking and BBQ, playing the guitar, and watching live music.
